Hongfu Temple is located on Qianling Mountain in Guiyang. It was founded in 1672 and is a famous Buddhist temple in Guiyang, known as the "first temple in Guizhou".

Inside Hongfu Temple, there are ancient relics such as Moyan stone carvings, the ancient Buddha cave that Xu Xiake swam through, and the ancient elders' tower tower. The temple itself is famous for praying for blessings and effectiveness, so the incense is very strong.
Hongfu Temple was built in the eleventh year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, founded by monk Chisong. The word "Hongfu" means "the great wish of Hongfo to save people and save the world; to bless all sentient beings, and to have a good beginning and end." The entire temple is located in the center of the Qianling Mountain peaks. Although Hongfu Temple is not large, its layout is rigorous, and its architecture is majestic. It is also full of ancient style because it is hidden in a green area.
There are many ancient relics in the temple, including the Nine Bend Path and Moyan Stone Carvings opened by monk Chisong, the Ancient Buddha Cave, and the ancient elders' tower tower. In the bell tower of the temple, there is a bronze bell weighing over 3000 pounds, which was cast in the fifth year of Ming Chenghua (1469). It was originally located in Daxing Temple in the city and was moved here in 1980.
