Beihai City is located at the southernmost tip of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, situated at a low latitude and bordering the Beibu Gulf. Beihai's climate is characterized by a maritime monsoon with typical subtropical characteristics. The winter half of the year (October to March) is dominated by the northerly monsoon, while the summer half of the year (April to September) is influenced primarily by tropical high pressure, strong winds, and southerly winds. Autumn and spring flow seamlessly together, resulting in a long summer with no winter and no extreme heat, resulting in a pleasant climate. The wind pattern in Beihai exhibits typical monsoon characteristics. Southerly winds prevail in the summer half of the year, while northerly winds prevail in the winter half of the year. April and September mark the transition period between the winter and summer monsoons. In April, the winter monsoon transitions to the summer monsoon, with the prevailing wind direction shifting from northerly to southerly. In September, the summer monsoon transitions to the winter monsoon, with the prevailing wind direction gradually shifting from southerly to northerly. In normal years, northerly winds predominate from October to March, while southerly winds predominate from April to September.
