Jiaxiu Tower is a landmark building in Guiyang. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty and is located on a huge stone in the Nanming River in the city. It is a three story wooden attic.

Jiaxiu Tower is a must see attraction for tourists visiting Guiyang, and the night view here is also very charming. The Cuiwei Garden, also built in the Ming Dynasty, next to the tower, can also be visited together.Jiaxiu Tower Scenic Area is mainly divided into three parts, namely Fuyu Bridge, Jiaxiu Tower, and Cuiwei Garden.

Jiaxiu Tower was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and its name means "Ke Jia Ting Xiu". This wooden building is 22.9 meters high and has three floors. The top floor is inscribed with the words "Jiaxiu Building", and tourists can climb up to overlook the scenery of the Nanming River bank. For hundreds of years, numerous literati and poets have left behind praise poems in Jiaxiu Tower, among which the 206 word couplet written by the Qing Dynasty scholar Liu Yushan is widely known.
