Pingtan Island

Pingtan Island, also known as Haitan Island, is located in Pingtan County, Fuzhou City. This island is the fifth largest island in China, and it is often known as "Donglan" due to the "misty atmosphere from the east".

The coastline of the entire island winds and twists, with a length of over 400 kilometers, making it a high-quality beach. On the island, there are famous scenic spots such as Thirty Six Foot Lake, Shipaiyang Reef, Xianren Well, Yipian Wa, and Shell Hill Site. There are also leisure places such as Longfengtou Resort and Tannanwan Beach, making it a coastal tourist resort.

To the north, east, and south of Pingtan Island, there are three major seaside beaches: Changjiang Bay, Haitan Bay, and Tannan Bay. The sand is fine and white, and the seawater is clear and blue, interconnected. Behind them are lush protective forests, and there are islands and reefs on the sea, making the scenery very pleasant.
