Fuzhou National Forest Park

Fuzhou National Forest Park, also known as Fuzhou Botanical Garden, is one of the top ten forest parks in China. It is located in Chiqiao Village, Xindian Town, northern suburbs of Fuzhou.

The scale of Fuzhou National Forest Park is very large, and the entire park is divided into six major areas (tourist areas): bamboo viewing garden, tree viewing area, cultural landscape area, Longtan Scenic Area mainly featuring natural landscapes, Fujian Forest Museum, and Bird Language Forest.

It's not necessary to specifically search for attractions in a park, as it's perfect for mountain climbing and leisure. The forest park is rich in vegetation and abundant in oxygen, making it a natural oxygen bar in Fuzhou.

When the popularity is high, it is spring. Every year during the cherry blossom season, the park is full of flowers, with many different varieties of cherry blossoms, pear blossoms, and peach blossoms, which are very beautiful. Going for an outing, admiring flowers, and breathing fresh air, it couldn't be better.

Climbing mainly takes place in the Longtan Scenic Area of the park. The hiking trail winds through the mountains of the scenic area, starting from Litchi Garden and ending at Longtan Waterfall, with a total length of 5.2 kilometers. The intensity is not high, so there is no need to worry about physical problems.

In addition, walking along the tree lined avenue, there is a millennium banyan tree next to the August 17th Reservoir, which is worth a visit.
