Jingdezhen Transportation


Jingdezhen City has the Anhui-Jiangxi Railway, four expressways including Hangrui, Jingying, Dechang and Jingwuhuang, and Jingdezhen Luojia Airport is one of the 100 key branch airports in China, forming a three-dimensional transportation network.

Jingdezhen Luojia Airport is a Class 4C civil airport and one of China's 100 key regional airports. The Jingdezhen Airport renovation and expansion project, a 140 million yuan investment by the Capital Airport Group, has been completed, increasing the airport's annual passenger throughput capacity to 500,000.

Jingdezhen Luojia Airport, redeveloped from the former Luojia Airport and commonly referred to as Jingdezhen Airport, is located in Luojia Village, Hongyuan Town, Fuliang County, northwest of Jingdezhen City, approximately 6 kilometers from the city center. Construction began in 1959, initially with a Class 1B airfield. In September 1992, to accommodate economic development, the Jingdezhen Municipal Government invested 200 million yuan in an expansion project, and the new airport officially opened in July 1996. On February 1, 2023, the Jingdezhen Fuliang General Airport began trial operations.

Jingdezhen North Railway Station (Jingdezhenbei Railway Station), located in Zhushan District, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, China, is administered by the China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and serves as a station on the Qujiu Railway and the Changjinghuang High-Speed Railway.

Construction of Jingdezhen North Station began in July 2014, and it opened on December 28, 2017. The renovated and expanded Jingdezhen North Station will open on December 27, 2023, along with the Changjinghuang High-Speed Railway. Starting July 1, 2025, Jingdezhen North Station will begin operating its first high-speed trains directly to West Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Jingdezhen North Station has a construction area of 16,600 square meters and features five platforms and 13 tracks.
