Yaoli Ancient Town

Yaoli(瑶里,窑里), formerly known as "Yaoli", was named after being the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. Here are old Huizhou style buildings, scenic mountains and waters, as well as the glorious imprints left by the flourishing pottery industry in ancient times.

Yaoli Scenic Area consists of five sub scenic areas, from northeast to southwest: Wanghu Ecological Tourist Area, Meiling Leisure Resort, Raonan Ceramic Theme Park, Porcelain Tea Ancient Town Tourist Area, and Kaolin Mine Site Park. These sub scenic areas are relatively scattered and do not have shuttle buses, so people usually eat and live in the ancient town, and then spend 1-2 days renting a car to visit these scenic areas.

The Yaohe River is very spiritual, and the elevated canal along the way is a characteristic of Yaoli compared to other Huizhou style residences. Not only is the scenery very beautiful, but walking on it can also overlook the ancient town.
