Sanmenxia Climate

Sanmenxia City is located in the mid-latitude inland region. Except for the low mountain and hilly area south of Xiong'er Mountain in Lushi County, which has a subtropical climate, most of the area has a warm temperate continental monsoon semi-arid climate. The climate here is pleasant with four distinct seasons. The average annual temperature is 14.2℃, the annual rainfall is generally between 400 mm and 700 mm, the frost-free period is 215 days, and the annual sunshine duration is about 2055.4 hours.
