Nanping Transportation

Nanping City, located at the junction of Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi provinces, serves as a strategic gateway for Fujian's northward and westward expansion, and serves as a vanguard platform connecting the Yangtze River Delta and serving the central and western regions. The city boasts one airport (a Class-A air port), nine expressways, and three railway lines. Two more expressways and two more railway lines are under construction, and a new Wuyishan International Airport is currently under planning. It has routes to Xiamen, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Jinan, Qingdao, Chongqing, and Hong Kong, and has established a national Class I air port.

Railway

Nanping City has established a major railway corridor connecting the south and the north, and the east and the west. In June 2015, the Hefu High-Speed Railway, which runs through northern Fujian, officially opened. In November 2018, the Nanping-Longyan Railway opened, allowing travel from Nanping to Longyan in just one hour and to Xiamen in 2.5 hours. In September 2020, the Quning Railway opened, bringing the "no-railway" era to Songxi and Zhenghe. The total operating railway mileage is 848 kilometers. The Yingxia Railway and Fengfu Railway connect Nanping City to Jiangxi Province, as well as the Inner and Outer Nan Railway within the city. Laizhou Station is the largest train marshaling yard in Fujian Province and a major transit point in East China.
