Huxiao Rock

Huxiao Rock is located in the south of Erqu Stream, between the Jade Maiden Peak and the One Line Sky. It is one of the famous scenic spots in the south of Mount Wuyi. The four characters "Huxi Holy Cave" are high on the rock. The saying 'Tiger Roar' comes from a huge cave on a rock. Legend has it that when the wind passes through the cave entrance, it roars like a tiger roar, hence the name 'Tiger Roar Rock'. Huxiaoyan is usually played with Yixiantian, and after coming out of Yixiantian, it becomes Huxiaoyan. It is a place in the whole Mount Wuyi Scenic Area that can compete with the steepness of Tianyou Peak, but the beautiful scenery after climbing will also make you feel worthwhile. The attractions of Huxiao Rock include Haohan Slope, which is hard to walk just by its name. Indeed, walking up can be a bit tiring. The cliff is right next to the rock steps, and the steps are relatively narrow. It's not easy to stop and rest when there are many people, so you need to keep moving forward. The endpoint of Huxiaoyan is Dingming Bridge, but it is not a high point. There is a viewing platform not far from Dingming Bridge, which is a good place for Huxiaoyan to overlook mountains and rivers. You can see the appearance of the 36 peaks of Wuyi. In addition, when it comes to Tiger Roar Rock, the Eight Scenes of Tiger Roar that usually come to mind can be searched for, but now it is difficult to find all of them. There is also a scenic spot called Tiancheng Zen Temple located at the foot of Huxiao Rock, where the ancient temple is hidden deep in the mountains. It feels great to visit together.
