Jincheng City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, China, was called Jianxing, Zezhou, and Zezhou Prefecture in ancient times. Located in the southeastern part of Shanxi Province, the entire territory is located in the Jincheng Basin, surrounded by mountains and relatively flat in the middle.
