Changde Taohuayuan Airport is located on Taohuayuan Road, Doumuhu Street, Dingcheng District, Changde City, Hunan Province. It is an alternate airport with Changsha Huanghua International Airport and Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport. As of February 2021, the terminal area of Changde Taohuayuan Airport is 20165 square meters, including 5600 square meters of international terminal area, with a total of 4 boarding bridges; The apron area of the civil aviation station is about 53000 square meters, with 4 D-class stands and 9 C-class stands; Having a 2600 meter long and 45 meter wide asphalt runway; It can meet the demand for an annual passenger throughput of 2.2 million, a cargo and mail throughput of 16000 tons, and 21000 transportation takeoffs and landings.

Changde Railway Station, located in Wuling District, Changde City, Hunan Province, China, is a second-class passenger station under the jurisdiction of Changsha Railway Depot of China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. It is a junction station of Shichang Railway, Yuxia High speed Railway, and Hunan High speed Railway, and is also an important transportation hub in the northwest of Hunan Province, China.

In 1997, construction of Changde Station began; In 1998, Changde Station was completed and put into use; On September 16, 2021, the original station building of Changde Station began to be demolished; On December 26, 2022, the south station building and high-speed yard of Changde Station were put into operation; On January 26, 2024, the north station building and conventional speed field of Changde Station were put into operation. As of January 2024, the building area of Changde Station is approximately 59977 square meters, with a station yard size of 9 platforms and 20 tracks.

Changde City has 87 navigable rivers such as Yuanjiang and Lishui, with a total length of 1753 kilometers, including 1191 kilometers of navigable waterways; There are 8 ports, with two ports in Changde and Jinshi having an annual throughput of over one million tons; There are 134 berths of over 100 tons, with a total length of 6626 linear meters.
