Shimen Longwang Cave is located in Shimen County, Hunan Province. The cave has water and caves, with stacked caves on top and surrounded by water. The scenic spots are dense and the scenery is unique, with treasures hidden everywhere. There are ten mile winding caves, ten mile mazes, ten mile jade carvings, and ten mile colorful screens. And there is a lake in front of the cave and a river at the entrance, which is its unique feature. Tourists paddle slowly in boats, gradually entering a beautiful scene where the lake and mountains merge into the cave and the water merge into one color.
The stalactites on the dome walls project onto the water surface, blending seamlessly with the crystal clear and exquisite stones in the water. Under the illumination of colorful lights, they become even more dazzling and colorful, making people feel as if they have stepped into the fairyland of the Dragon Palace. Boating into the cave for about 400 meters, I left the boat and landed on the shore. However, I saw a variety of strange stalactites hanging upside down from the top of the cave, with scattered stalagmites and stone pillars: more than 50 landscapes such as "Chaolong Hall", "Yaochi", "Lingzhi Treasure Mushroom", "Dragon King Throne", etc., which are dazzling to modern people. Moreover, the dripping water on the top of the head is like a qin, the clear spring under the feet is like a zither, warm in winter and cool in summer, making people more and more excited and reluctant to leave. Longwang Cave is located 28 kilometers northwest of Shimen County, along the main road of Provincial Highway 1829. There is a hot spring spa center located 8 kilometers away from Longwang Cave. Entering Zhangjiajie City 5 kilometers northwest from Longwang Cave, you can go 80 kilometers to Suoxiyu without passing through Cili County.
