Railways
Changchun is a major national railway hub and a key node on the northern route of the Belt and Road Initiative. On October 13, 2017, Changchun International Port and the China-Europe Railway Express (Changchun-Hamburg) officially opened. Built on the Changchun Railway Freight Yard, Changchun International Port is the largest Class-A railway integrated logistics base in Northeast China. Changchun North and Changchun South Stations are only for train crew boarding and alighting and for freight operations.
Changchun Longjia International Airport

Located in Longjia Subdistrict, Jiutai District, Changchun City, is a Class 4E civil airport. Officially opened on August 27, 2005, it is one of the four major international airports in Northeast China, a gateway to Northeast Asia's aviation hub, a major regional aviation hub, and a major trunk airport in China. With a total area of 201,000 square meters, it features two terminals, 60 aircraft stands, a 3,200-meter runway, a 1,068.5-meter second parallel taxiway, and two rapid taxiways. Changchun Longjia International Airport seamlessly connects the high-speed railway and the airport. On November 13, 2017, Longjia Airport's annual passenger throughput exceeded 10 million for the first time, officially joining the "10 million passenger airport club." By 2024, Changchun's civil aviation cargo and mail shipments are expected to reach 41,100 tons, a 6.1% increase; and cargo and mail throughput is projected to reach 98,600 tons, a 6.8% increase. Civil aviation carried 8.825 million passengers, up 13.4%; passenger throughput reached 17.6075 million, up 13.7%.
