At the end of March, the Huangling Phase II Gaoling Terraced Fields Flower Sea Relay was launched. Due to the large altitude difference, low temperature, and late maturing rapeseed flower varieties, the flowering period was later, and the Phase II Flower Sea can last until mid April.

In winter, every household in Huangling is busy selling and processing traditional local specialties to make New Year's goods. The roof is covered with the local customs of cured meat, "drying" the local customs, and "celebrating" the harvest, implying the Dafengshou (Salad of assorted fresh vegetables) in the New Year. With the arrival of the winter solstice, the Huangling folk culture season will open and last until the Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival next year.
