Jimo Ancient City, also known as Zhumao City or Kangwang City, was built during the Spring and Autumn Period and was abandoned in the 16th year of Emperor Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty. It was once the capital of Jiaodong and the city of Kangwang. It is a famous political, economic, and cultural center in the eastern part of Qi State, second only to Linzi at that time. In the Records of the Grand Historian, Su Qin once praised, "Qi had Langya and Jimo's Rao." Jimo's ancient city was magnificent and prosperous.
The core area of the whole ancient city integrates ancient culture, featured snacks and exhibition halls to create the concept of a cultural business capital.
