Poyang Lake is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River at the junction of Nanchang and Jiujiang. Poyang Lake is divided into two seasons: high water and low water. During the abundant summer and autumn seasons, Poyang Lake seems like an endless sea, surrounded by lush greenery that is truly spectacular. During the dry season, large areas of water beaches appear, with lush reed marshes and wild grass. Cattle and sheep roam among them, and the scenery is also very beautiful.
Every year in the late autumn season, when you come to Poyang Lake, you can see thousands of migratory birds coming from various parts of the north to spend the winter. Every year during the late autumn season, there are over 300 species and hundreds of thousands of birds wintering in Nanjishan Nature Reserve, including more than 50 rare birds such as white cranes, making it a great opportunity for photography. Poyang Lake is therefore known as the "White Crane World" and the "Kingdom of Rare Birds".
