Nanchang Bayi Square, formerly known as People's Square, is the central square of the historical and cultural city of Nanchang, and also the center of activities for Nanchang citizens.
The August 1st Uprising Memorial Tower is a landmark building in the square, with a height of 53.6 meters. A high flag raising platform is set up in the south of the square center. On the north side of the flag raising platform, a tall White Marble engraved with "where the military flag rises" highlights Nanchang's special historical position in the Chinese revolution.
On the memorial tower square, there are water screen movies and Bayi music fountains. On both sides of the Jinshui Bridge, various types of fountains are laid on the riverbed. The ups and downs of the fountains are combined with songs such as "March of the Chinese People's Liberation Army", "Ode to the Yellow River", "We Workers Have Power", "We Soldiers", "For Whom", and "Entering a New Era" to form a colorful audio-visual landscape with dancing water and flying songs.
