Qiyun Pagoda, also known as the Shakyamuni Pagoda, is located outside the White Horse Temple in Luoyang. Qiyun Pagoda was originally a wooden pagoda, built in the year of Jisi in Yongping of the Eastern Han Dynasty (69 AD). It is a Buddhist pagoda in China with a history of nearly two thousand years. Later, the tower was burned down by the Jin army in the late Northern Song Dynasty and was rebuilt in the fifteenth year of the Jin Dynasty's reign (1175). At this time, the tower had been transformed into a thirteen story square shaped brick tower with a history of over eight hundred years.

The entire tower is 35 meters high, facing north to south, covering an area of more than 40 acres, and consists of three parts: the base, the tower body, and the tower brake. The appearance of the tower is a beautiful parabolic shape, and the internal structure adopts architectural shapes such as corridors, vertical shafts, niches, ventricles, and arches. The eaves of the tower are decorated with imitation wooden arch of wooden architecture, and the top is covered with a pagoda temple in the form of a treasure bottle. There is an arch on the south side of each floor, where you can climb up and overlook. In front of the tower, there are still three stone inscriptions from the 15th year of the Jin Dynasty's reign and the Ming Dynasty's reconstruction.
Standing about 20 meters south of Qiyun Pagoda, you can hear the sound of "wow wow" coming from the tower, like the croaking of a frog. This is caused by the comprehensive echo formed by the reflection of sound waves by the tower.
