Luoyang Museum

Luoyang Museum is located on the south bank of the Luo River, north of the Sui and Tang Dynasty City Ruins Botanical Garden. You can come here to fully experience the long history and culture of the ancient capital of Luoyang.

The main building of the museum has two floors. The first floor is usually for general exhibitions, and the second floor is for the museum's boutique exhibitions. The museum's special exhibition on palace culture is also located on the second floor.

In the Luoyang Museum, you can see the bronze wine vessels of the Xia Dynasty, known as the "Milk Nailed Bronze Jue"; There is also the "Cuo Jin Jin Tong Ding" from the Warring States period; And the "clay sculpture of human faces" from the Northern Wei period; The tri colored lanterns and tri colored horses of the Tang Dynasty were brightly colored and uniquely shaped. The appearance of the tri colored lanterns absorbed the connotation of Buddhist art, while the tri colored horses followed the traditional composition rules of "round and round" shape, reflecting the unrestrained and upward style of the Tang Empire.
