Memorial Hall of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the Acceptance of the Japanese Surrender, located in Zhijiang County, Huaihua, is the site where the Chinese people accepted the surrender of the Japanese invaders. It is also a national thematic memorial hall that comprehensively reflects the victory and surrender of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

In August 1945, Japan announced unconditional surrender, and from August 21-23, the Nationalist Government held a surrender ceremony here.
The main buildings of the surrender memorial hall include the surrender memorial hall and the surrender venue. The Memorial Hall for Surrender is known as the "Triumphal Arch of China", with a height of 8.5 meters, a width of 10.46 meters, and a thickness of 1.15 meters. It is made of blue bricks and cement, with a top shaped like a "mountain", four columns and three arches, and embedded with Yuanzhou purple robe and jade belt stone.

The surrender venue includes a restored surrender venue and a display of surrender materials. It is a typical barracks style building from the 1940s, displaying thousands of important national cultural relics and important literature materials using high-tech methods such as sound, light, and electricity.
The memorial hall also has the headquarters of the Chinese Army and the office of He Yingqin. The tables, chairs, and sofas displayed indoors are all original items from that time. The Zhijiang Airport, not far from here, was once the second largest military airport in the Allied Far East during World War II. General Flying Tiger Chenault's Sino American Mixed Brigade and the US 14th Air Force used it as their base.
The Chinese and American air force squadrons near the airport in the east and the airport command tower are still well preserved. When visiting the memorial hall, it is recommended to hire a tour guide to gain a more detailed understanding of the history here. The tour guide fee is 10 yuan.
