Known as one of the “Eight Scenes of Ancient Yuanzhou”, Longjin Wind and Rain Bridge in Zhijiang County is the longest wind and rain bridge built by the Dong ethnic group. Wind and rain bridge can be taken as a symbol of the Dong ethnic architecture. In December 2000, the bridge was rated as the longest wind and rain bridge by the Shanghai Great World Guinness Headquarters.

Zhijiang Longjin Wind and Rain Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province, located in Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province. It was donated and built by the famous monk Kuanyun in the 19th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1591 AD), and has been repeatedly destroyed and repaired. It has always been a key transportation hub on the Hunan Guizhou Highway and the busiest place for merchants and tourists to travel. It is known as the "First Bridge in Southwest Chu" in history.
In early 1999, Longjin Bridge resumed construction and was completed on November 7, 1999. The repaired Longjin Wind and Rain Bridge has a total length of 246.7 meters and a width of 12.2 meters, making it the largest wind and rain bridge in the world today. The entire Wind and Rain Bridge is a fully wooden structure, with no nails or rivets, exuding a grand atmosphere like a long dragon crossing the east and west banks. It not only preserves the cultural taste of Dong ethnic architecture, but also fully embodies contemporary garden architecture art.
