Muta Temple, formerly known as Wanshou Temple, is an ancient pagoda with a brick and wood structure. Temple and tower was first built in the Northern Zhou or a little earlier, through the Sui, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties rebuilt. Wooden tower in the temple is now open for zhangye city folklore museum.

The whole tower without a nail and a rivet, all rely on poor arch, beams and columns connected, criss-crossed, and each other, pulling the knot, all in one.
