Highways
By the end of 2024, Suzhou's total highway mileage will be 11,190.6 kilometers, including 619.9 kilometers of expressways.
There are four long-distance bus stations in downtown Suzhou: Suzhou North Square Bus Station, Suzhou South Bus Station, Suzhou West Bus Station, and Wuzhong Bus Station.
Railways

As of February 2025, Suzhou has 14 passenger stations: Suzhou Station, Suzhou North Station, Suzhou Industrial Park Station, Suzhou New District Station, Kunshan South Station, Yangcheng Lake Station, Kunshan Station, Huaqiao Station, Taicang Station, Taicang South Station, Zhangjiagang Station, Changshu Station, Suzhou South Station, and Shengze Station.
Water Transportation
Suzhou Port is a new port established in 2002 by merging the former national first-class open ports of Zhangjiagang Port, Changshu Port, and Taicang Port. The three original ports are now the Zhangjiagang Port Area, Changshu Port Area, and Taicang Port Area of Suzhou Port. Suzhou Port has operationally operated approximately 100 10,000-ton berths, and the annual cargo throughput of Zhangjiagang Port and Taicang Port has exceeded 100 million tons.
In 2024, Suzhou Port's annual cargo throughput is expected to reach 598 million tons, and its container throughput will reach 9.665 million TEUs, representing year-on-year increases of 1.5% and 3.5%, respectively. Taicang Port will account for 289 million tons of cargo and 8.318 million TEUs of container throughput.
