Nanning Climate

Nanning is located south of the Tropic of Cancer, south-central Guangxi, with an average elevation of 76.5 meters. The average annual temperature is 21.8°C and the average annual rainfall is 1,286 mm. It has a typical subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by abundant rainfall, long summers, and short winters. The extreme high is 40.4°C, and the extreme low is -2.4°C. January, the coldest month in winter, averages 12.8°C, while July and August, the hottest months in summer, average 28.2°C. Annual rainfall reaches 1,304.2 mm, and the average relative humidity is 79%. The climate is characterized by hot and humid weather.
