Humble Administrator's Garden

Humble Administrator's Garden is a famous garden in Suzhou, which is centered on water, with staggered rockeries and exquisite courtyard buildings, and lush flowers and trees. It is one of the four most famous gardens in China, along with the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Summer Resort in Chengde, and the Garden of Reunion in Suzhou, and has been inscribed on the World Heritage List.

The design of the whole garden is very exquisite, and the tour can be said to be “one step at a time”, reflecting the flavor of the Jiangnan water town everywhere. The paths in the garden are twisting and turning, from the heavy porches and stone walls with hollowed-out patterns to the pavilions and windows, all of which are not the same, and they are matched with trees and flowers to form a picturesque landscape, which you can spend a lot of time photographing.

Spring, summer and autumn are all very suitable for visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden. There is an azalea show from mid-March to early May, a lotus show from early June to mid-October, a chrysanthemum show from early September to mid-October, and a flower and fruit bonsai show during the Spring Festival. In winter, there are many fewer people there, but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace and quiet.
