Shengshui Zen Temple in Emei Mountain , also Shenshui Pavilion, was originally the villa of Wu Yongxian, the governor of the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming Wanli period, it was renamed Shengshui Tmeple, and during the Qing Shunzhi period, it was renamed Shenshui Pavilion. The four levels of the palace: Guanyin Hall, Maitreya Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Samantabhadra Hall, are exquisitely constructed.

Fuhu Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty. The temple is hidden deep in the mountains and surrounded by towering trees. Today, it is a peaceful nunnery. There are not many tourists coming to Fuhu Temple, and the environment is very peaceful, giving people a sense of detachment from the secular world. The temple also provides accommodation and meals.
