Kaifeng Museum


Kaifeng Museum,  founded in March 1962, formerly known as the Henan Provincial Museum, was opened to the public in September 1988 . The Kaifeng City Museum, a local historical and artistic museum in China, located on Baofukeng Middle Road in Kaifeng City, Henan Province.

The total area of the Kaifeng Museum is 16000 square meters, with the main building covering more than 7000 square meters. It is a "mountain" shaped antique building, with a single eave gable roof and yellow glazed tiles covering it, elegant and solemn, magnificent and spectacular. Its exhibition building covers an area of more than 5000 square meters, with a central hall of four floors, a front exhibition hall of three floors, and two wing exhibition halls of two floors.

There are a total of 13 exhibition halls, a cultural relics warehouse area of 1500 square meters, a collection of more than 50000 cultural relics, and nearly 50000 professional books, which are extremely precious.
