Leifeng Tower

Leifeng Tower, also known as “Huangfei Tower”, is located on Leifeng Mountain on the south shore of West Lake. Many people's “Leifeng Tower complex” originated from the legend of the White Lady, although the old tower fell in 1924, now this is in the original tower on the foundation of the new, inside the elevator and air-conditioning, but does not prevent you from coming here to find traces of the White Lady.

The Leifeng Tower itself is one of the major attractions of the whole scenic area, and the newly restored Leifeng Pagoda is more like a museum, with five floors from the base upwards. At the base of the tower site you can see the broken base of the old tower surrounded by glass, which is full of loose change and is also considered to be a scene of Leifeng Tower. The bottom floor of the tower exhibits a large-scale Dongyang woodcarving mural, “The Legend of the White Snake,” which is very detailed.

The Leifeng Tower has a great view from the heights, not only can you see the panoramic view of the West Lake, but also overlooking the full view of the opposite side of the Jingci Temple. Especially at night, the lights along the West Lake outline the entire West Lake and the view is intoxicating.
