
Neimen Zizhu Temple is located in Neimen District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It has been built for over 300 years and mainly worships Guanyin Buddha. It is the central temple of Guanyin belief in the province. The birthday of Guanyin Buddha on the 19th day of the second lunar month is a major festival. The Inner Gate Purple Bamboo Temple specially worships the father of Guanyin Buddha, "Miaozhuang Wang," who is known as the "Wugong Zunwang," as well as the three princesses Miaoyin, Miaoyuan, and Miaoshan. According to the "Xiangshan Baojuan," Miaoshan Princess is the incarnation of Guanyin Buddha. Since its construction, the Inner Gate Purple Bamboo Temple has undergone five renovations, in the 17th year of the Qianlong reign, the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign, the 9th year of the Guangxu reign, the 17th year of the Republic of China, and the 57th year of the Republic of China. The existing Inner Gate Purple Bamboo Temple was renovated in the 57th year of the Republic of China.
