Longshan Temple

Longshan Temple, also known as Mangchuan Longshan Temple, is a famous temple in Taipei. The temple faces north and south, and is designed with a three-stage layout consisting of a front hall, a back hall, an east-west treasure guard, and a central main hall, presenting a "Hui" font. There is a bell and drum tower above, and the door walls, beams, and columns showcase the beauty of carving, especially the four copper dragon columns in the front hall, which can be called classics. On both sides of Longshan Temple, there are Jingxin Waterfalls and fountain pools. There is a golden pillar circular spiral shaped coffered pit in the main hall. There are many statues enshrined in the temple, and the main deity is Guanyin. Every year from the 15th to the 19th of the first lunar month, there will be grand sacrifices and lantern exhibitions in the temple.                         Travel  Tips
