The Beitou Hot Spring Museum is a public hot spring bathhouse built in 1913. It adopts a Japanese wooden structure, backed by green mountains, with winding paths and lush flowers and trees. In 1997, it was designated as a cultural relic and rebuilt as the Beitou Hot Spring Museum.
Entering the museum, follow the wooden ladder down to the basement level and you will reach the hot spring bath in the middle. Roman arches surround the bathhouse, and sunlight shines through the stained glass, projecting an exotic atmosphere. This place is only for men to bathe, and displays early supplies such as brushes, water ladles, and buckets from Beitou Hot Springs. It used to be the largest hot spring bathhouse in East Asia, but today it still has a bit of grandeur and magnificence, almost the size of a swimming pool. Travel Tips
