The Jingmen Green Forest Beauty Valley Scenic Area is about 2 kilometers long. It is located in the Wanfu River Canyon to the southeast of the Green Forest Scenic Area, facing the Green Forest Village Scenic Area from afar and connected to the Yuanyang River. The Green Forest Beauty Valley is composed of a series of deep pools, waterfalls, strange stones, and secluded caves. It is a canyon type ecological leisure and sightseeing area with water and stone landscape as its main feature. Its scenery is very similar to Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area in Sichuan, and it is known as "New Jiuzhaigou in Hubei". Here, mountains and waters are interdependent, and the scenery is pleasant. The canyon is over 800 meters deep, and the valley floor is rugged with strange rocks. Here, the forest waves surge, the gentle breeze is pleasant, birds sing and flowers bloom, and beautiful women dance gracefully. Here, the sky is swirling with clouds and clouds, and the mountains are covered in lush greenery. The beauty of the beauty valley embodies the traditional and pure Chinese classical landscape poetry, with green reeds and white dew as frost. Being immersed in it, step by step, it feels like a paradise on earth, a fairyland on earth.
Meiren Lake, also known as Wuditan or Xiangshui Lake, is located in the canyon of Xiangchong River. The canyon has a total length of 600 meters, a width of 5-20 meters, and a length of 10 meters at the mouth. It is surrounded by flowing water throughout the stone crevices, with a flow rate of 0.3-0.5 cubic meters per second. The cliffs on both sides of the canyon are scattered, and vines are thriving. Low willow trees grow among them, with clear flowing water and flowing stone steps. Below the gorge, there are three deep pools, one about 20 meters wide and 15 meters long. There is a waterfall on the pool, 8 meters high and 1.2 meters wide, flowing from southwest to northeast at a 15 degree angle. A huge red stone stands below the waterfall. Water flows from one pond to two or three ponds, forming countless small waterfalls in between. The southern cliff of the canyon is a steep cliff ranging from 15 to 30 meters high, with layers of hanging rocks on the north bank. There are many caves and calcified strange rocks on the rocks, and the entire Beauty Pool blends in with the surrounding environment. The distant mountains and green trees reflect in it, while waterfalls, cliffs, and wild vines complement each other to create a beautiful scenery.
