The Detian Cross border Waterfall Scenic Area is located in Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the border between China and Vietnam. It spans across two countries, China and Vietnam, with a width of over 200 meters. It is the second largest cross border waterfall in Asia and the second largest in the world. It is also one of the filming locations for the film and television drama "The Thousand Bones of Flower".
The source of the waterfall is the boundary river between China and Vietnam - Guichun River. It flows into Vietnam and then back to Guangxi, passing through Detian Village in Daxin County, and then falls three levels from a cliff over 60 meters high, forming the magnificent landscape of Detian Waterfall. On the left side of the waterfall is Banyue Waterfall, which has a small amount of water in Vietnam. One of the two waterfalls is big and the other is small, hanging between the green cliffs, like a pair of close sisters.
When touring, you can walk to the mountainside boardwalk opposite the waterfall to enjoy the panoramic view of the waterfall. If you want to get a close-up view of the waterfall, you can also take photos of the scenery by sitting on a bamboo raft on the river bank. Because it is the boundary river between the two countries, it is equivalent to leaving the country once. On the river, there are also Vietnamese people selling small things on bamboo rafts, which is quite interesting.

Scenic spots in the scenic spot: 1. Detian memorial archway
The Detian Archway is known as the gateway to international travel, and entering here will also start your journey across borders. Is there anything special about the German character on the plaque? As early as over a thousand years ago, 'De' was like a polyphonic character. It was written in two different ways, with or without a horizontal line. This can be confirmed by the calligraphy of famous calligraphers from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
2. Jiehe bamboo raft
Riding on bamboo rafts, leisurely boating on the water surface, enjoying this charming natural scenery. The clear river water cascades down from the sky, splashing water mist lightly on the face. The sound is like a series of seductive notes, stirring everyone's heartstrings. Being immersed in it is like strolling in an ink painting, leisurely and carefree.
3. 836 boundary marker
The 836 boundary markers are an important part of a country and are sacred and inviolable. The determination of national boundaries and mapping are strictly regulated. Excluding the coastline/maritime boundaries, China's land borders alone are over 22000 kilometers long. You should know that the equatorial circumference of the Earth is only about 40000 kilometers, and our country's land borders are equivalent to half a circle around the Earth. With such a long boundary line, how to determine the direction of the twists and turns is a major issue.
4. Detian Temple
The Detian Temple was spontaneously donated and built by the villagers of Detian Tun in the 1980s to commemorate the Zhuang hero Nong Zhigao. Local people come to pay tribute to the hero every first and fifteenth day, and the villagers come to offer incense. Begging for national prosperity and people's peace, and a bountiful harvest of crops.
