Meiligeng Scenic Area

Meiligeng Tourist Area is located at the southern foot of Dahuabei, the main peak of Wula Mountain, and is known for its four wonders: "forest and sea of strange pine trees, waterfalls, ponds, springs, cloud sea illusions, and strange peaks and rocks". Meili is Mongolian, meaning "intelligence and wisdom". Every year from June to September, the scenic area is filled with blooming mountain flowers, shrouded in clouds and mist, drizzling rain and brocade, like entering a fairyland. The autumn red leaves and winter snow sea are all charming. There is a poem that describes, "There is no ink on the distant mountains for thousands of years of painting, and near the water there are no strings for thousands of ancient qin. Playing the qin and entering the painting brings you to a fairyland, and once again climbing to the top of clothing, you will arrive

Meili Gengzhao in the tourist area is the only existing ancient temple in China that combines Tibetan and Chinese styles of reciting scriptures in Mongolian, with a total of five halls. The entire temple is an organic combination of Tibetan and Han styles, roughly divided into three parts. The west side is a Tibetan style building, the middle is a Han temple where living Buddhas live, and the west side is a monk's academy. There are several rows of bungalows in the front and back, with large glass windows that are very bright. The Calais Buddha statue in the "Maidar" of Dadu Palace is eight zhang and one foot tall. When there were more than 500 lamas, there were over 100 with fixed salaries.

Meiligeng Waterfall is also a must visit place in the scenic area. It is a rare spring water waterfall in the north, formed by geological compression of fissure water, which gathers into a waterfall with a drop of 66 meters. A flying waterfall cascades into a deep green pool, as if descending from the sky, with the force of the Milky Way falling into a valley. The deep pool beneath the waterfall is known as the "Wisdom Water Pool". Legend has it that those who have drunk Wisdom Water are like immortals guiding them, possessing exceptional wisdom. In the midst of heavy snow and ice in the depths of winter, this place is covered in silver and still dark green pine and cypress trees. Spring water forms glaciers, and on the cliffs and canyons, crystal clear chains of ten thousand feet long form, like a giant ice dragon. The spring water flowing joyfully under the ice layer is the pulse of this dragon! This particularly enchanting northern scenery is the only unique landscape bestowed upon us by nature.
