Bao Park


Bao Park was built to commemorate the Qing official Bao Zheng of the Northern Song Dynasty and is a national 4A level tourist attraction. The entire Bao Park covers an area of 34.5 hectares, with a water area of 15 hectares. The overall layout is open, consisting of attractions such as Bao Gong Temple, Bao Gong Tomb, Qingfeng Pavilion, and Fuzhuang. Bao Park is one of the first anti-corruption education bases, cross-strait exchange bases, and international cultural exchange bases for overseas Chinese in China. The park is themed around "Historical Bao Gong - Cultural Bao Gong - Cultural Relic Bao Gong", showcasing Bao Gong's life of "loyalty, filial piety, cleanliness, and integrity" from different perspectives and forms. Bao Zheng, with the courtesy name Xiren and the honorific title of "Duke Bao", was born in Hefei, Anhui in 999 AD. He passed away in Kaifeng, Henan in 1062 and was posthumously honored with the title of "Xiaosu".
