Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (IATA: HGH, ICAO: ZSHC) is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, 27 kilometers from the city center. It is a 4F-class civil transport airport, one of China's twelve major trunk airports, an international scheduled airport, a Class A open air port, and an international alternate airport. In October 2019, it became an air port implementing a 144-hour transit visa-free policy.

On December 28, 2000, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport held its first flight, relocating the civil portion of Hangzhou Jianqiao Airport. Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport officially opened on December 30, 2000. On December 13, 2001, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport was renamed Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. On December 30, 2012, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and the second runway of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport officially opened. On September 22, 2022, Terminal 4 Phase I of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport opened. As of October 2024, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport's Terminal 3 will cover 170,000 square meters, and Terminal 4 will cover 719,000 square meters. The civil aviation apron will have 192 aircraft stands, including 79 jet bridge stands. The first runway will be 3,600 meters long, and the second runway will be 3,400 meters long. These will accommodate an annual passenger throughput of 82.5 million and 670,000 aircraft movements.

As of August 11, 2025, Hangzhou Airport's cumulative passenger throughput in 2025 reached 30.61 million, a 4% year-on-year increase. On August 1, Hangzhou Airport recorded a record high of 1,007 daily flight movements, exceeding 1,000.


Hangzhou East Railway Station, located in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, is administered by the Hangzhou Station Department of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is the city's most comprehensive transportation hub, a vital component of the Hangzhou Railway Hub, and one of China's largest railway hubs.Hangzhou East Railway Station was first built on April 1, 1992, and underwent renovation and expansion on December 27, 2008. The renovated Hangzhou East Railway Station officially opened on July 1, 2013. The West Plaza of Hangzhou East Railway Station was put into use on January 1, 2014.

As of December 2019, Hangzhou East Railway Station covers an area of 400,000 square meters, with a total building area of 320,000 square meters. With a total investment of RMB 11.733 billion, the station features 15 platforms with 28 platform decks, 30 tracks, and three platforms and four tracks reserved for maglev trains.On September 25, 2019, the railway to subway transfer system at Hangzhou East Railway Station in Zhejiang Province began "inspection-free mode." The subway security check at Hangzhou East Railway Station hub has officially been moved to the railway arrival hall. Passengers can enter the subway station directly without security check after exiting the high-speed rail station, realizing seamless transfer.
