Langshan National Park


Kongshan National Scenic Area is a typical Danxia Peak Forest landform, and is a scenic treasure known for its beautiful water, mountains, and caves. On the land of Kongshan, the protruding stone forest community, complex limestone caves, mysterious canyon clusters, and beautiful Fuyi River flow constitute the natural landscape of Bishui Dan Cliff. There are three natural bridges in the scenic area; There are 10 first-line days; There are 10 unique karst caves; There are 8 streams and rivers running through the entire area; There are over 20 magnificent canyons; There are many exotic flowers, plants, animals, and birds. To summarize, within this 100 square kilometer Danxia landform, there are six major scenic areas: Tianyi Lane Scenic Area, Chili Peak, Fuyi River, Bajiaozhai, Zixia Cave Scenic Area, and Tianshengqiao.

The natural landscape of Kongshan National Scenic Area is unique, with the Fuyi River (Fuyi Water) winding north and south in the upper reaches of the Zijiang River, creating picturesque scenery with the beauty of Guilin; There is the quiet of Qingcheng Mountain; It has the grandeur of Mount Taishan Mountain. Fuyi water flows continuously throughout the year, with clear water that reaches the bottom. The vegetation is lush with many rare and precious species, including the "plant panda" silver fir, paulownia tree, national protected animals such as South China tiger, clouded leopard, golden rooster, and spirit cat. The forest coverage rate exceeds 70%, and the ecological environment is very superior.

The cultural landscape of Kongshan National Scenic Area is also very rich. There are unearthed macaque skull fossils dating back 100000 years, Neolithic cultural sites dating back 4500 years, ancient war castles of peasant uprisings throughout history, and ancestral tombs of high-ranking officials in the late Qing Dynasty. Han, Yao, Miao, and Zhuang ethnic groups live together, and their ethnic customs are diverse and colorful.

Kongshan has six major scenic spots under its jurisdiction: Tianyi Lane, Chili Peak, Fuyi River, Bajiaozhai, Zixia Cave, and Tianshengqiao. Among them, the famous landscape is the "Six Wonders of Kongshan", which can be called a world wonder:

The first masterpiece is the First Lane in the World: located in the Tianyi Lane scenic area, with a total length of 238.8 meters, stone walls on both sides that are more than 120-180 meters high, a width of 0.8 meters, and a narrowness of 0.33 meters. It can be described as a world-class scenic spot. In 2009, Kongshan Tianyi Lane was selected as the world's first lane by the World Record Association.

The second must see is the whale frolicking in the sea: located in the Bajiaozhai Scenic Area, overlooking the canyon, with misty clouds, strange peaks and rocks, sometimes showing their heads and tails, just like millions of whales playing in the sea;

The third masterpiece is the General Stone: located in the Fuyi River Scenic Area, at an altitude of 399.5 meters, the stone pillar has a net height of 75 meters and a circumference of 40 meters. Drifting down the Fuyi River, you can see the General Stone carrying the blue sky on its back, facing the Fuyi River below, holding its head high, wearing stars and wielding sharpness, with the sound of tigers and tigers;

The fourth wonder is Camel Peak: located in the Chili Peak Scenic Area, the peak is 187.8 meters high and 273 meters long, with two depressions divided into camel head, camel back peak, and camel tail, with realistic and lifelike images;

The fifth unique feature is the Tiansheng Bridge: the bridge piers are 64 meters long, 14 meters wide, and 20 meters high, with a deck thickness of 5 meters. The entire bridge is in a circular arch shape, crossing the sky with a majestic momentum, and is known as the first bridge in Asia;

The sixth wonder is Chili Peak: located in the Chili Peak scenic area, it is 180 meters high, with small head and feet, just like a huge chili pepper.
