The Ming Dynasty Great Wall starts from Jiayuguan in the west, passing through Jiuquan, Gaotai, Linze, Zhangye, Shandan, Yongchang, Minqin, Wuwei, Gulang, Jingtai and other counties. It crosses the Yellow River from Wufo Temple and extends along the south bank of the Yellow River in Jingyuan County, with ups and downs, all the way to Shanhaiguan in the east.

The Ming Dyansty Great Wall, about 1000 kilometers in Gansu Province, was constructed entirely with rammed earth, with a compacted layer thickness of 13-20 centimeters. In some areas, wooden stakes are hidden between compacted soil layers, and weeds or sand are compacted to a height of 10 meters, with a 1-meter-high female wall on top and crenelles. Its bottom thickness is 5 to 6 meters, and its top width is 2 meters.
The beacon tower is located on the inner side of the Great Wall, with a height of over 10 meters. It was built with rammed earth and is commonly known as the beacon tower. The distance between the two beacon towers is about 5 kilometers, and they look at each other in a spectacular manner. At every pass, mountain pass, and river mouth, there are watchtowers built outside the Great Wall.
The Ming Great Wall is well preserved in cities and counties such as Jiayuguan, Shandan, Yongchang, and Gulang in Gansu Province. The Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty stands tall in the Gobi Desert, majestic and imposing. If you want to know more about Great Wall, please visit the Jiayuguan Great Wall Museum.
