Gaoyiling Tourist Area is located at the border of Qiaokou Town and Zixing City in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, separated from Feitian Mountain Scenic Area and adjacent to Bianjiang River in Yongxing County. The scenic area features alternating trees and stones, red rocks, green water, and perilous villages and streams, forming beautiful landscape paintings.
The Gaoyiling tourist area is mainly composed of mountains and forests, surrounded by clear water at the foot of the mountain. From a high vantage point, the dark green "Tianchi" surrounds a "octopus" with its teeth and claws on the water surface. Here, there are numerous Danfeng peaks, red cliffs, and green waters, all of which are breathtakingly beautiful. The mountains, waters, springs, caves, villages, cliffs, and plains are all present, making it a rare Danxia landform wonder.
